Colglazier for Indiana Senate
New
Colglazier Hits the Trail
Matt and his wife Laurie are out on the campaign trail, meeting families and voters throughout the district. Matt wants to hear your thoughts on jobs, the economy and the future of Indiana.
Tell us your issue

I am running for State Senate in District 44 because I believe Indiana is ready for a new generation of leadership.
We need leadership now that’s dedicated to bringing new jobs and new business to our area and our state. We also need a leadership that understands the important role education plays in creating and fostering these opportunities, and also providing people hope and encouragement that they can do more, be more, than they ever thought was possible.
I promise to listen and engage. I promise to earn every vote, and meet with as many people as I can. I don’t just want to talk about issues, I want to listen and debate. I believe that true change can only come when we sit down together, as neighbors, with mutual respect.
I am running because I truly believe in Indiana’s potential. I am asking you to vote this year for a new Indiana, a new generation of leadership, and more importantly, a new personal sense of what is possible, when we work together.
Sincerely,
Matthew S. Colglazier

This afternoon we participated in Freetown July Fest parade. The turnout was great and the heat made it feel like a true celebration of summer. Tonight we also enjoyed the final evening of the Lawrence County Fair and we squeezed in few good hours before the storms came.

We just got some more pictures from the Limestone Heritage Festival 4th of July Parade in Bedford and couldn't wait to share them. A few of these truly capture the spirit of the holiday and how those in the heart of Indiana value our freedom.

One of the greatest parts about this campaign is the opportunity to meet new people and discover connections. This week at the Lawrence County Fair we met another Colglazier family who we didn't know before. Even better, Mr. Colglazier helped start the Lawrence County Fairgrounds nearly 50 years ago. Matt had a chance to visit with him and it seems the fairgrounds have come a long way since those times. We have some great pictures from the past few days posted below.

Happy 4th of July! We had a great group of friends, family and volunteers for the Limestone Heritage Festival Parade in Bedford today. We had a classic Mustang as part of the entry and the kids along the route seemed to love the car as much as the candy! Thanks to everyone who came out for the festivities and those who worked so hard to make the event possible. We hope you have a relaxing holiday with family and friends.

Seymour's 4th Annual Cars and Guitars event was a great success and Matt enjoyed meeting those exhibiting cars who traveled from all over the area.
